Since the year 1970, Ford F-150 has become the best selling full-size pickup truck line in America. That should not surprise – the automaker on a regular basis and improve the truck update icons to win the competition.

F-150 and competition is stiff: formidable challengers, including the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan. 3.5-liter V-6 EcoBoost – Ford offers the strength of V-8 and V-6 fuel in a 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost induction. 365 hp rating and 425 pounds-feet of torque, this engine has power equivalent to 5.4 liters of V-8. The EcoBoost range of towing 11,300 pounds and 3030 pounds of cargo and operate on regular gasoline.

3.7-liter four-valve V-6 – Base power six-cylinder engine can be found in the new F-150, rated 302 horsepower and produces 278 pounds-feet of torque. E85 flex fuel is, this engine is also regularly gasoline. This machine offers 6100 pounds of towing capacity.

5.0-liter four-valve V-8 – this machine is similar to that offered on the Ford Mustang, tweaks for used trucks. Rated at 360 horsepower and 380 pounds-feet of torque, up 5.0-liter V-8 to take regular gasoline or E85 fuel. Towing capacity is 10,000 lbs.

6.2-liter two-valve V-8 – The largest Ford F-150 engine is one of the most powerful, ranked 411 horsepower and 434 pounds-feet of torque. This engine runs on regular gasoline is standard on the SVT Raptor, and is also used in Super Duty. Towing capacity is 11,300 lbs.

Diesel Option

If you are looking for a diesel engine, a 6.7-liter 32-valve Power Stroke turbo-diesel V-8 are reserved for the Ford Super Duty truck line. Super Duty is rated payload of 2210 pounds to 7070 pounds. Rated at 400 horsepower and 800 pounds-feet of torque, this model can withdraw up to £ 24,400 with 5-wheel tractor.
